I'm using this video in advisory today to talk about empathy vs. sympathy. Our students are generally really good at being compassionate, caring human beings. I think it is partly because our school values time to reflect on values like this, and also because we all hold each-other accountable. You can see this modeled if you ask any student in the building how we feel about the phrase "shut-up." Just brace yourself. . . lol. . .It was a snowy Wisconsin morning in the 30 degree range. All three RCAA advisors accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge that was brought forth yesterday during an ALS presentation.
