In the discovery phase of our project process, we write answers to our guiding questions. These need to be presented in a way that showcases what we've learned. The simplest way to do that is a RESEARCH SUMMARY! Some students go beyond this to write a research paper like we learned how to do first term in Literacy class, but writing a research paper and proving a thesis is not necessary for every project.
Here are the directions for a research summary, in case you need a reminder. They can also be found in the project folder that my advisory students get each term. ![]() Click here to get guidance on making an outline. See this page for help organizing details and paragraphs in your research paper.
